Published by: Greatfuture Info August 26, New Delhi:  Indian Navy’s sail training ship INS Sudarshini concluded her 3-day port call at Lisbon, Portugal, on August 25, as part of her ongoing Lokayan 26 transoceanic expedition. During the port call, the Commanding Officer of INS Sudarshini called on Rear Admiral Miguel Bessa Pacheco, Commandant, Portuguese Naval Academy, and Rear Admiral Joao Paulo Silva Pereira, Deputy Fleet Commander, Portuguese Navy. The engagements reinforced the institutional ties and mutual understanding between the two navies. As part of the professional engagements, sea trainees from the Indian Navy visited the Portuguese Naval Academy (Escola Naval), where they interacted with their Portuguese counterparts, toured the historic campus and training facilities, and exchanged perspectives on seamanship and tall-ship sail training.
